Campaigns

Campaigns let you send targeted email outreach to segments of your contacts. Rev Forge uses AI to help generate personalized content at scale.

Creating a Campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns in the sidebar
  2. Click New Campaign
  3. Configure:
    • Name — internal name for the campaign
    • Subject line — what recipients see in their inbox
    • Audience — select a segment or manually pick contacts
    • Content — write your email or use AI generation

AI Content Generation

Rev Forge can generate email content using AI:

  1. In the campaign editor, click Generate with AI
  2. Describe what you want to communicate
  3. Select a tone (professional, friendly, urgent)
  4. Review the generated content and edit as needed
  5. AI personalizes each email using contact and company data

Audience Segmentation

Target the right people with segments:

  • By tag — contacts tagged with specific labels
  • By stage — leads in particular pipeline stages
  • By score — contacts above a score threshold
  • By activity — contacts who opened/clicked previous campaigns
  • Custom filters — combine multiple criteria

Campaign Analytics

After sending, track performance:

  • Delivery rate — successfully delivered vs. bounced
  • Open rate — percentage who opened the email
  • Click rate — percentage who clicked a link
  • Reply rate — percentage who replied
  • Unsubscribe rate — percentage who opted out

Campaign Status

Campaigns move through these states:

  • Draft — being edited, not yet sent
  • Scheduled — queued to send at a specific time
  • Sending — currently being delivered
  • Sent — delivery complete
  • Paused — temporarily halted (can resume)

Tips

  • A/B test subject lines by creating two campaign variants
  • Send at optimal times — Rev Forge suggests based on past open data
  • Always preview your email before sending to check formatting
  • Monitor unsubscribe rates — high rates may indicate targeting issues
