Setting Up Your First Client

Clients in Rev Forge represent the businesses you manage sales for. Each client gets their own pipeline, contacts, campaigns, and reporting.

Creating a Client

  1. Click Clients in the sidebar
  2. Click the Add Client button
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • Name — the client’s business name
    • Industry — helps with AI-generated content
    • Website — used for company enrichment
  4. Click Create

Configuring the Pipeline

Each client has a lead pipeline with stages. The defaults are:

NewFreshly captured leads
ContactedInitial outreach made
QualifiedConfirmed as a good fit
ProposalProposal or quote sent
WonDeal closed successfully
LostDid not convert

To customize stages:

  1. Go to the client’s Settings tab
  2. Under Pipeline Stages, add, remove, or reorder stages
  3. Changes apply to new leads — existing leads keep their current stage

Importing Contacts

To import existing contacts into your new client:

  1. Go to the client’s Contacts tab
  2. Click Import
  3. Upload a CSV file with columns for name, email, phone, company
  4. Map your CSV columns to Rev Forge fields
  5. Review the preview and click Import

Adding Team Access

Control which team members can work on this client:

  1. Go to the client’s Settings → Access tab
  2. Add team members and set their permission level
  3. Members only see clients they’ve been granted access to
